Handling Named Accounts and Exceptions

Use the "Named Account" or "Named Exception" tags in fullcast.io to mark targeted accounts you'd like to keep separate from the rest of the GTM plan. This way, reps can own and focus on a concrete list of accounts without having to worry about other account mapping activities happening during the sales planning cycle.

In fullcast.io, users can mark accounts as a Named Account or a Named Exception. Let's look into what these mean further.

Marking Named Accounts and Exceptions

When accounts are moved manually, they should be tagged as a Named Account or a Named Exception to allow for various accounts to be pinned and not moved when the user reruns the rules on a particular node.

To mark an account as a Named Account or a Named Exception:

  1. Navigate to the Territory Designer, and click on the Segments tab to view the GTM hierarchy and corresponding accounts.
  2. In the Grid, select the account(s) that you'd like to tag using the checkbox.
  3. Once selected, click the Actions button in the Grid Actions Bar. Select Set Named Types from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the pop-up window that follows, select the tag you'd like to add on the selected account(s). The options will show as follows:
