Package Version: 2.180 (Upgrade Notes)

This release introduces multi-plan capability, Enhancements to Reporting, Friction Free SFDC Managed Package, bugfixes and performance improvements.

New Feature & Enhancements

Multiplan Automated Rerun Rules

Multiplan now supports the activation of multiple plans simultaneously, with the ability to sync data to Salesforce in real-time. To enhance this experience we have introduced automatic rerun rules that trigger whenever new data is imported. These rules can be enabled for any plan, allowing you to automatically apply updates when data changes.

  • Plans enabled for auto-rerun rules will be available to be executed in the next import job run.
  • Multiplan will sequentially execute the rerun rules on each plan one after the other.
  • Audit logs keep track of the success and failures of the rerun rule.

Reporting Enhancements: Year-Over-Year Reporting

Adding a time-series metric unlocks easy year-over-year comparisons right from the measure menu.

Reporting Enhancements: System Fields in the Portfolio Report

System fields (e.g. proposed changes fields, Named Accounts, etc.) are now available within the portfolio reports as well.

Hold out Policy Enhancements

  1. Added option to skip updating the Opportunity Ownership in both the matching and non-matching sections.
  2. Added Tagging functionality allowing for custom fields to be populated with holdout information.

Friction-Free Salesforce Managed Package:

The Motion package is migrating policy configuration away from dedicated fields on standard Salesforce objects (e.g., accounts, opportunities, leads) to avoid impacting your organization's limits. This release deprecates these fields and introduces you to two new options:

Custom Metadata Type: Provides a dedicated and flexible space for your policy settings.

Policy Object: Allows direct association of configuration data with individual policies themselves.

For more information on deprecated fields, refer to the Motion Package Upgrade Notes article.

Notes:

  • The configurable fields for each policy can be selected either on the respective policy page or set up in Custom Metadata Types provided by Fullcast.
  • The next release will require customers to use their custom fields instead of the deprecated fields.

Account Hierarchy: Ultimate Parent

The Ultimate Parent is the highest parent in an account family. If you use the Fullcast Account Hierarchy Policy, this field is automatically calculated and added as a lookup on the account object. A number of functionalities in the Fullcast platform relies on this field being available such as: Account Family views in the Segments Grid, Account Family tab in the Account Details, etc.

For customers that have not implemented the Account Hierarchy Policy or have this data available, this means functionality is restricted. We have not made the calculation of the Ultimate parent automatic when you import the data.

  • A new system field is now available which shows the automatically calculated ultimate parent. The ultimate parent is calculated by using the parent field and traversing the tree to locate the ultimate parent.
  • You can still use a custom ultimate parent field by using the Known Field tagging on a custom field.
