Import Jobs

The Standard Import Jobs brings in data for the following entities from Salesforce to Fullcast design app

  1. Accounts
  2. People
  3. Product
  4. Opportunity 
  5. Opportunity Line item

Account, People and Product details could be viewed in design app modules, whereas Opportunity and Opportunity LineItem details are used in the Charts.

Adhoc Import Job

Follow below steps to perform a standard import in

  1. Access your Fullcast instance and switch plans if applicable. 
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear) on the navigation bar. 
  3. Click the Jobs tab. 
  4. Click the Import/Export button
  5. In the Choose Job options screen that pops up, select the appropriate action that needs to be performed.
    1. Migrate All - All the records will be migrated.
    2. Migrate latest - Migrates those records after the latest change that happened.
  6. Choose Standard import and confirm.

Applying Filters to Standard Import

To run the standard import job for a specific account, users can apply appropriate filters to the entity. Follow these steps to apply filters:

  1. Select the profile icon.
  2. Choose "Entities and Fields."
  3. From the drop-down list, select the entity you want to filter.
  4. Click on the edit icon next to the entity field.
  5. In the pop-up screen, select the "+" icon in the tab.
  6. When a new criteria is added, only records matching the criteria will be imported.
  7. If existing criteria are changed, records matching the previous criteria will be deleted, and records meeting the new criteria will be imported.
  8. Deleting criteria will result in importing all GTM records if a full import is selected. If a partial import is chosen, only records and fields that have been updated will be imported.
