Activating and Deactivating Policies

To activate or deactivate a policy in the Motion Module:

  1. Open the Motion Module in the app by clicking the Motion tab in the top panel of the app.
  2. Select the Designer under which you've added the policy you'd like to edit. E.g., If you defined a policy by territories, select Policies by Territory from the menu.
  3. You are now in the Motion module for the designer you chose. Click the Policy Menu (indicated by three dots [...]) on the policy you'd like to edit.
  4. Select Enable or Disable from the drop-down menu. The tag on the policy will update to read "Active" or "Inactive" based on what you select.


What's the result of activating policies?

Different fields on the target object will be updated in your CRM depending on the type of policy. Look for these changes in your CRM objects. For more info on policy execution and troubleshooting policies - check out Executing Policies.
