Quota Relief

There may be situations where, as a sales leader, you'll have to adjust quotas or reduce them to motivate your reps to perform. Setting fair and accurate quotas on territories is important to your business. In the Targets Designer, you can provide quota relief using the  Relief tab.  

Steps to add quota relief

1. Select a target you'd like to adjust from the Targets tab.
2. From Targets Operations Menu [...], pick View Details/Edit from the drop-down list.
3. Select the Relief Tab.
4. To add quota relief, select the blue Relief+ button in the top right corner.
5. The process of adding quota relief is similar to adding adjustments to your targets. Provide a description of the relief you're providing and select the pencil icon under the Action column to edit the grid. Enter the appropriate amount of relief per month.
6. When you're satisfied with the changes made, select Confirm to apply your changes. Your target amount will be recalculated and reflected correctly in the Tops Down vs Bottoms Up tab.

Steps to edit the relief amount

1. Select a target you'd like to adjust from the Targets tab.
2. From the Targets Operations Menu [...], pick View Details/Edit from the drop-down list.
3. Select the Relief Tab.
4. To edit quota relief, select the gray pencil icon on the relief entry you'd like to edit.
5. Edit the description for the relief you're providing and select the pencil icon under the Action column to edit the grid. Enter the updated amount of relief per month.
6. Acknowledge the warning and select Confirm to apply your changes. Your target amount will be recalculated and reflected correctly in the Tops Down vs Bottoms Up tab.

Steps to remove quota relief

1. Select a target you'd like to adjust from the Targets tab.
2. From the Targets Operations Menu [...], pick View Details/Edit from the drop-down list.
3. Select the Relief Tab.
4. To remove quota relief, select the gray [X] button on the far right of the quota relief entry.
5. Acknowledge the warning and select Confirm to apply your changes. Your target amount will be recalculated and reflected correctly in the Tops Down vs Bottoms Up tab.
